Our 12 Favorite Allergy-Friendly Snacks & Treats

There are few things everyone (us included!) loves more than SNACKS. But when you have food allergies, snack time can also mean risk time. đŸ˜” Luckily, many of us on the Amulet team manage food allergies or our children’s food allergies, so we understand the importance of finding trustworthy snacks and treats that will satisfy. So, our CEO, Abi, and COO, Meg, are here to share some of their faves!

  1. Sweet Loren’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: These delicious chocolate chip cookies are just as good raw as they are baked. If you can eat dairy, I like to pair the warm baked cookies with Siggi’s vanilla yogurt.

  2. Clusterbucks Chocolate Sea Salt: I discovered these recently and am obsessed! They’re chocolate seed clusters made with sprouted buckwheat. Fun fact: buckwheat is a great crop for soil health. They’re grain-free, gluten-free, vegan, and rich in antioxidants. And the company is woman-owned and plastic-neutral certified!

  3. Noka Superfood Smoothie Packs: These are great for traveling—they’re basically a healthy, allergen-friendly snack in a squeeze packet! My favorites: Blueberry Beet, Super Berry, and Sweet Potato Goji.

  4. FitJoy Tangy Dijon Pretzels: I discovered these recently on a flight. As someone who is not a big mustard lover, I was suspect, but man oh man
 these grain-free pretzels are good!

  5. Partake Cookies: I’m a long-time fan of these. My favorites: Birthday Cake and Chocolate Chip.

  6. GoMacro Sunflower Butter + Chocolate Protein Bar: This is my new go-to nut-free snack. The one caveat is not all of their bars are nut-free, and while they specify which ones are in bold text (in the top right corner!), the bars all look very similar. You’ll want to be diligent and ensure you’re grabbing the right one. The company is also owned by a mother-daughter duo, which I love. 💙

  1. Good and Gather Unsweetened Dried Pineapple Rings: I love these for an easy grab-and-go option. They’re only one healthy ingredient and sulfite-free—my kids even like them!

  2. Love, Corn: Sea Salt Flavor: If you’re needing to satisfy a salt craving, look no further! These salty and crunchy little corn nuggets are made with only three ingredients: corn, sunflower oil, and sea salt. One of my fave recent finds.

  3. Mamma Chia Blackberry Bliss Squeeze Packets: You might think food pouches are just for kids, but no longer! Each packet contains a single serving of organic hydrated chia seeds, which are high in Omega-3s and prebiotic fiber. If you need a packable, shelf-stable option, these are a great choice.

  4. Simple Mills Veggie Flour Pita Crackers, Himalayan Salt: These are, hands-down, my favorite gluten-free crackers. They’re also top-9 allergen-free and each serving size includes a 1/3 serving of veggies. But you’d never know! 😊

  5. Undercover Dark Chocolate + Sea Salt Quinoa Crisps: I have a terrible sweet tooth, but I don’t feel as bad about it when quinoa is involved! These crisps are made from dark chocolate, quinoa, and salt. As a bonus, they’re made in a facility free from wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, fish, shellfish, sesame, and poppy seeds. And they are SO good.

  6. Bobo’s Chocolate Chip Oat Bites: It can be hard to find a granola bar that’s allergen-friendly, but these fit the bill. They are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and vegan. Note: there is a “may contain” statement about peanuts and tree nuts, but they are not an ingredient in the bites.
