Kaavya Akula

Associate Scientist

Kaavya holds an M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, where she initiated and led her thesis project on designing fluorescent microbial biosensors for fertility hormone monitoring. She brings a strong foundation in cloning, cell-based assays, and microbiology with hands-on experience in both academic and lab environments.

Driven by a passion for biosensors, Kaavya enjoys exploring the intersection of health and technology—and baking in her free time.
