At Amulet we are shining a light on invisible threats in our food system to create a safer and healthier world. We have two brands: Allergy Amulet, for consumer food allergen detection, and Amulet Scientific, for enterprise food safety detection.
About This Role
We’re seeking a candidate to assist with the company’s research and development efforts. This individual will work closely with the team’s scientists and experts in the company’s lab, and will design, run, and analyze benchtop experiments. This candidate will be based in our Boston, MA location. Full-time and part-time roles will be considered.

What We Are Looking For:
Strong communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic laboratory skills and safety practices
A strong interest in chemistry, biology, and sensor design and development
High integrity and professionalism
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Designing and performing laboratory tests, including synthesis and analysis
Researching relevant literature and staying up-to-date with the state of the field
Summarizing and presenting results to our team of scientists
Supervising chemical hygiene, storage, and inventory
Requirements:
Must have completed at least two years toward an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in science, technology, or related field
Must have taken two semesters of upper-level chemistry or biology and lab courses
Preferred Experiences and Skills:
Experience in ligand binding assays
Experience with the Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Background in programming
Prior work with a start-up or early-stage biotech company
